unfortunely, many fake news in this story, RUSADA was closed in 2015, and started their testing againg July 17, 2017. At this time russian speed skaters testes 97 times - https://www.wada-ama.org/en/media/news/2017-10/wada-publishes-rusadas-testing-statistics Kulizhnikov and all others World Cup winners tested in Netherlands last week
Yes, that's good to know, but on the other hand, today WADA said: Maintaining the non-compliance status of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) The Board endorsed WADA’s independent Compliance Review Committee’s (CRC’s) recommendation that RUSADA remain non-compliant with the Code until such time as Russia fulfills the two outstanding criteria of RUSADA’s Roadmap to Compliance. In the interest of full transparency, the Board first considered appeals for reinstatement from Russia’s Minister of Sport, Pavel Kolobkov, and the President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Alexander Zhukov. Thereafter, the Chair of the CRC, Jonathan Taylor, apprised the Board of what was considered by the CRC as it relates to reinstatement; in particular, the following two criteria that Russia had yet to complete on the Roadmap: That the responsible authorities for anti-doping in Russia must publically accept the reported outcomes of the McLaren Investigation. That the Russian Government must provide access for appropriate entities to the stored samples and electronic data in the Moscow Laboratory, which are sealed off due to a Federal investigation. “The Board was encouraged by the significant progress achieved by RUSADA under its new Management with the support of WADA,” said Sir Craig Reedie. “However, there was clear consensus by the Board that the two outstanding Roadmap criteria were critical to global confidence and to operating in a credible environment” he continued. “The Agency will continue its efforts and work with Russia, in the hope that compliance can be achieved so that the country can benefit from a fully robust and independent anti-doping system, which operates within a healthy and supportive environment.” WADA’s Board declared RUSADA non-compliant in November 2015, following revelations of widespread doping in Russian athletics that was exposed via WADA’s independent Pound Commission. Since then, WADA and its partners have been working very hard to rebuild a credible, and sustainable, anti-doping program in Russia that will ensure the protection of clean athletes inside and outside of the country.
Sasha, not so fake, really - Bowe's Facebook comment was based on this: at-least-one-dozen-top-russian-winter-sports-athletes-were-not-tested-russian-anti-doping-agency-first-10-months-2017 some quotes: "At least a dozen top Russian winter sports athletes, including some publicly implicated in the Sochi 2014 doping scandal, were not tested by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency in the first 10 months of this year, according to a list published by RUSADA several days ago." "RUSADA has conducted 3,782 tests thus far in 2017. Two-thirds of the athletes on the list were tested only once. Less than 12 percent (299 athletes) were tested three times or more." "Current 500-meter and 1,000-meter speedskating world-record holder Pavel Kulizhnikov, who missed the Sochi Games due to a doping suspension, two-time world 500-meter medalist Ruslan Murashov and Sochi figure skating gold medalist Adelina Sotnikova, who was recently cleared in the IOC's doping investigation, also were missing from the testing list." So he may have been tested in Heerenveen, but not by RUSADA this whole year!
So that mistake cancels out the non-testing of him (and some other medal candidates)? Just show me the records of how often Kulishnikov, Murashov, Fatkulina, Yuskov and other medal contenders have been tested by RUSADA, preferably out of competition, in 2017 (and 2016 and 2015). As often as the US contenders I mentioned above?
